The symposium will take place at the Auditorium of Parke Gipuzkoa, located in the Science and Technology Park of Guipúzcoa in San Sebastián. All lunches and coffee breaks will be taken in the same building.

Donostia /San Sebastián

Donostia/San Sebastián is a small city located on the southern coast of the Bay of Biscay. Also known as the pearl of the Cantabrian Sea, it is said to be one of the most beautiful spots in the Iberian Peninsula. Donostia/San Sebastián was European Culture Capital in 2016. Among the highlights of cultural activities taking place throughout the year are the Jazz festival “Jazzaldia” in July, the well-known International Film festival in September, and Horror & Fantasy film festival in November.

Its famous beach “La Concha” has been chosen as the Best European Beach and sixth-best beach in the world by TripAdvisor travellers. Donostia/San Sebastián has also been awarded the expert prize for the Best European Destination 2018 by TripExpert in their Experts’ Choice Awards 2018.
